Meet Percy

Well, waddya know?  I finally finished the bear made from the Persian lamb jacket I bought a while back.  And here he is!  Meet Percy.

He is now available for adoption on Etsy.  Please take a look.

I hope you like him as much  as I enjoyed making him.

So, Here is Sailor Sam, Finally

Sailor Sam

CrackerJack

Well, after all this time, I have finally finished Sailor Sam!  I generally make my bears from light or bright colors and did not think I would have such a problem finishing his face.  The black perle cotton I usually use for the nose and mouth became invisible in that curly mohair as did black shoe buttons.  I tried brown shoe buttons, but they made poor Sam look like he was blind.  So, now, you can see the whites of his eyes.  (Just don't fire.)
