Here is Forsythia, the little (9 inch) yellow bear you saw in progress.  
Sailor Sam is a 12 inch navy Navy bear.  He is waiting for his uniform, a middy collar and a sailor hat.  I will be posting his pic in a couple of days.

2 Bears 2 Be

Well, here I am again.  Forsythia, the little yellow bear I posted as a work in progress, is now complete.  I will be taking pictures tomorrow as today was gloo0my with rain and thunder and almost as black as night -- no natural light.

I am also completing a 12 inch navy mohair sailor bear (as yet unnamed).  He is waiting for his middy collar and his sailor hat.

I have finally gotten rid of that cough, the last vestige of whatever was going around.  So I am newly energized and ready to birth more bears.

I will be posting some pics tomorrow.

A Bear, a Bunny and a Work In Progress

I have been working on three bears/friends simultaneously while battling whatever is going around.  The cough does you in, almost like a whoop.

I'm Baaaaaaack

Between a miserable cold and computer problems, I have been out of commission for a few days.

Just when I thought I was rid of one cold, another one hit me.  And my cardiologist had just scheduled me for and angiogram.  He was intending on putting a stent in my leg and my heart.  

On top of it all, my mouse died.  Of course, it took me a couple of days of troubleshooting to find that out.  So, anyway, got a new (wireless) mouse and am back in business.

Now I am ready to make that pastel bunny I have been designing in my head.  And little Daffodil's baby sister.  So, be on the lookout.

Dr. Bear Gets Ready to Go Home

 Here is Dr. Bear wearing his lab coat and his hospital ID.   He is ready to be shipped to his new home in Rochester, New York.  He's gonna have to get used to the snow.

Rushing the Season

I knew when I saw St. Patrick's Day and Easter merchandise in the stores that Valentine's Day had to be real close.  Just like seeing Christmas merchandise even before Halloween!  Retailers really want to part us from our money.  Pretty soon they'll be selling holiday merchandise year round -- you won't know if it's Christmastime or the Fourth of July!

Here is little Chocklit -- calorie free chocolate, if you will.  He is 9 inches tall and is made of curly brown mohair.  His paw pads are silver leather and his collar is silver lame'.  His eyes are black antique shoe buttons and his nose is embroidered with silver perle cotton.  He looks good enough to eat, but don't.
